How can I pay for my new stairs?
- For all single use customers, we ask for 50% down at time of initial purchase and 50% on delivery.
- For customers who plan on repeat purchases, we will supply all information necessary to create a payment account on request.
What is the lead time?
- For orders of three or less of our standard model stairs, the lead time is 3-7 business days from receipt of order.
- For larger orders, or custom orders, the lead time is 8-10 weeks from receipt of order.
Do stairs come assembled?
- For orders of two or more stairs, the treads, risers, landings and stringers arrive on site fully assembled. The rails and posts are bolted on in the field.
- For most single stair orders, the stairs are fully assembled aside from the posts, which are bolted on after the stair is anchored to the building.
How long does installation take?
- For two adults with a forklift, installation takes approximately 45-60 minutes per unit.
Do I need a forklift to unload?
- A forklift or 3-4 able-bodied people will be needed to unload your product. If a forklift is unavailable, the unit can be unloaded manually.
What tools are needed for installation?
- All hardware is included for installation. The necessary tools include:
- hammer drill (1)
- concrete bits (one at 1/2″ and one at 3/4″)
- tape measure (1)
- level (1)
- impact wrench with a 9/16″ and a 1″ socket
What is the weight of the unit?
- The weight of our fully assembled standard model stair is approximately 500 pounds. Specialty model stairs vary in weight.
How are the units shipped?
- For small orders, the stairs are shipped on a common carrier, most often an open flatbed.
- For larger orders and all local orders, units are shipped on a designated carrier flatbed.
